Sensory Integration

Sensory integration is a process of integrating deep sensation (proprioception), sense of balance, touch, smell and sight with the aim to bring balance to the nervous system.

  • Through systematic stimulation, balance in the senses is restored, awareness of the dog's body is  increased, and therefore also the ability to adapt to space.

  • Thus, sensory integrations influence the regulation of emotions, i.e. strengthen the action of the parasympathetic part of the nervous system. The sense of security is also strengthened, and thus the sense of balance increases.

  • It is always the dog's decision if they to continue or if they need a break.
