Grooming

Of course, being That Dog Guy, we do grooming a little differently!

First of all, our groomer also offers dog walks, allowing her to build a bond with your dog before grooming them, helping to make the whole experience more familiar, relaxed and enjoyable.

We don't use drying ovens, providing a safer, kinder and less commercial grooming experience.

We also offer:

• Free collection and drop-off during our normal operating hours.

• Regular, repeat bookings – book once and your dog will automatically be collected, groomed and dropped home on your chosen schedule.

• Monthly billing – no need to pay after every appointment. Everything is added to your usual monthly bill.

• Flexible cancellations – simply log into your portal to cancel by 9 a.m. on the Friday of the preceding week.

As with all our specialist services, grooming is a privilege reserved for our regular walking and training clients. This allows us to get to know your dog, build a relationship with them and offer a more personal experience.

Specialist grooming for anxious and fearful dogs

We also offer behaviour-assisted grooming and sedated grooming for dogs struggling with fear, phobias or anxiety around being groomed.

Drawing on the expertise of our behaviourists and trainers, we can provide additional behavioural support to help dogs feel safer and more comfortable throughout the grooming process. Where appropriate, we can also arrange grooming under veterinary-supervised sedation for dogs who would otherwise find the experience too distressing.
